The subdivisions of Milwood, Hunters Chase, Springwoods and Forest North Estates are all located within the 78729 zip code and the Round Rock ISD McNeil High School feeder boundaries. The area includes Deerpark Middle School and several top-rated elementary schools: Jollyville, Pond Springs, Live Oak and Forest North. Proximity to neighborhood schools makes this area appealing to families and home owners wishing to locate within a desirable area that maintains value over the years. The neighborhood is bordered by McNeil Drive, W Parmer Lane, RR 620 N and Pond Springs Road.
The entire area is approximately 6 square miles which makes it compact enough for easy access to schools and parks. Parks include Rattan Creek and Springwoods Park as well as a few smaller parks throughout the neighborhood. The larger parks include swimming pools, playgrounds and meeting areas.
