Milwood, Hunters Chase, Springwoods, Forest North (78729)

The subdivisions of Milwood, Hunters Chase, Springwoods and Forest North Estates are all located within the 78729 zip code and the Round Rock ISD McNeil High School feeder boundaries. The area includes Deerpark Middle School and several top-rated elementary schools: Jollyville, Pond Springs, Live Oak and Forest North. Proximity to neighborhood schools makes this area appealing to families and home owners wishing to locate within a desirable area that maintains value over the years. The neighborhood is bordered by McNeil Drive, W Parmer Lane, RR 620 N and Pond Springs Road.

The entire area is approximately 6 square miles which makes it compact enough for easy access to schools and parks. Parks include Rattan Creek and Springwoods Park as well as a few smaller parks throughout the neighborhood. The larger parks include swimming pools, playgrounds and meeting areas.

Homes range in price from the low $100’s to the low $300’s depending on size and updates. Most homes were built between the mid 1970’s to the mid 1990’s, and several have been updated. Because it is an established neighborhood, trees are larger and lot sizes a bit more generous than newer areas. Forest North Estates includes homes on half-acre lots with tall trees for an even more private feel. The average sales price ranges from $190,000 to $200,000 and homes do not typically stay on the market for more than 60 days. The area also includes a few duplex and condominium projects that are excellent investment opportunities.
